My Background
I've been painting all my life, yet I have never been able to see a full spectrum of colors. After two cornea transplants in the summer of 2021, I am now rediscovering my basic colors all over again. Flesh tones are particularly challenging, but with the help of my family, I'm experimenting with blends. I’m excited to see how these watercolor portraits will evolve as I build my art portfolio.

Watercolor portraits have always been my primary focus and chosen medium. The blends and subtleties are infinite, especially in my art portfolio. I've recently started using 140lbs and 300 lbs cold press paper, which makes the colors pop significantly. You’ll notice more tones in my current work, compared to my earlier pieces in the Charles Ramer archive, where I could only see blue and yellow.
